feelin' like spring

For the past couple of weeks, it has really begun to look and  feel like spring around here. The weather has been unusually warm, and I think I've maybe worn my wool coat twice.. which is a big deal in good ol' Laramie at this time of year. I've even put my snow boots away and I am really looking forward to when everything starts to blossom and turn green around here! And with the advent of spring, it also means General Conference! And I have to admit, I am SUPER excited about it. I mean, I usaully look forward to it, but for whatever reason, I'm just really excited for this weekend. I hope all of y'all are too! :)

SO with that said, I've decided that I want to start some type of little "conference food" tradition. My LDS coworker said that her mom would always make "conference candy" (which I guess was just a mix of certain types of candies), and then they'd always have "conference crepes" for breakfast. The little girl I teach piano lessons to told me that she's excited for conference because her mom always makes monkey bread... So now I want to know if YOU have any conference food traditions.. And if you don't, I would still love to hear some suggestions! And if any of them tend to be on the healthier side of things, that's awsome! We're trying to limit how many sugary/fatty treats we're eating.. :)

Please leave your suggestions in the comments box! :) Thanks in advance, and if you don't hear from me again before tomorrow, Happy Conferencing!
